Links to external URLs (for video, websites, pdfs on websites) are accessible via the email sent out
any internal Moodle URLs, embedded images or video or uploaded files are NOT accessible via the email (recipient is forced to log into Moodle to access all content)
email received does NOT identify sender or course (only course id is displayed followed by section > activity etc)
If an auto-subscription forum etc recipient can only change preferences while logged into moodle
We cannot stop students replying to forced subscription forum announcements
