Unable to import content to a new course

You may rarely encounter this issue where on attempting to import content into a new course you get this error message

And when you click on More information link see

‘ There is currently no text in this page. You can search for this page title in other pages.’

It would appear that this is due to a Quickmail bug and our advice to:

  1. Remove the Quickmail block from the original course where content is being copied from
  2. Import content from this course to the new one as usual
  3. Restore the Quickmail block in the original course ( you will still be able to see ‘History’ etc)
  4. Add the Quickmail block in the new course
